Hair Stings

Maybe we're absent-minded
but remember every wrong and pain
Sometimes I wonder how
I managed to walk out my door

I lost a thread of hair
but it feels like a thousand pins pricking my heart
Whatever you buried underground
It doesn't travel through time; it stays.

Have me hung now
I would tell you everything
Just get me out of
such a long and winding maze
Have me hung now
I would tell you everything
If only I could
I wish I could trace back every missing clue

I've tried my best to hold her
But she drifts away
If I had not done that... and this

Have me hung now
I would tell you everything
Just get me out of
such a long and winding maze
Have me hung now
I would tell you everything
If only I could
I wish I could trace back every missing clue

every missing clue

I lost a thread of hair
but it feels like a thousand pins pricking my heart

Have me hung now. Have me hung now

Hair Stings gave me the motivation to go back to the rehearsal room after a four-month break as I felt all the songs I wrote were rubbish. It's the very first "okay" innisfallen song. If there's a poll for top-10 riffs again, I'll try my best to get this song nominated. Listen and learn the riff, mate. The idea of this song came across my mind when I was having a shower one day, that people live under the shadow of painful memories, while forgetting the good things in life.
