Winter

Someone will take us away
After the nuclear winter
Even though you're lying
and the whistle's still crying
Please listen

We're all weeping in silence
Open your mind to the fear
Even though you like it the most
and the weapons still visible
Destroying, destroying calm winter

All of our vision is misty
Into your golden dust
We hope the second rain
Empty the fears
Paving ways to escape

A few would stay in the new world
Why do we stay here alone?
Could have walked on the ground but
Now we gaze and get lost in the snow
Shining, the shinin' golden dust

All of our vision is misty
Into your golden dust
We hope the second rain
Empty the fears
Paving ways to escape

Winter is Sam's idea, which came up in his head long before he joined us. Sam likes George Orwell's 1984 very much, and there really is a bit of such kind of influence in the song ¡V a forecast of our future, the nuclear era, with advanced technologies and warfare, but ruins everywhere, dim and dark. We're very proud of the music box part during the outro that we realised the picture that a music box stands alone in the ruin there.
